LabelView eliminates the guess work from designing labels because the
label displayed on the screen is an exact duplicate of the printed label.
Easy
to Use
LabelView is user-friendly, intuitive, and it's menu-driven display
will have you designing even the most detailed labels in minutes. Once
created, a label can be saved, added to your library of labels, and retrieved
anytime through menu selection.
Database
Merge
LabelView includes a full-featured database manager that lets you create,
edit, and query your own databases. Information on the label can be retrieved
from any dBASE compatible database file (including dBASE III plus, dBASE
IV, FoxPro, and Clipper).
Add
Graphics
Graphics, such as logos or symbols, can be imported into a label, scaled
to any size and rotated in any direction. LabelView is compatible with
the PCX, JPG, GIF, TIF or BMP graphic formats.
Paragraphs
LabelView's Paragraph feature is useful for displaying multi-line text, such as a list of ingredients. Word-wrap, automatic
centering, and left/right justification are powerful and eye-pleasing options. Paragraphs can be imported from your favourite text
editor, or from the text editor included with LabelView.
Sophisticated
Print Manager (DOS Version)
As you send files to the printer, a print queue forms, capable of storing
hundreds of print jobs. You can freeze, cancel, or change the priority
of print jobs at any time by simply pressing F10). LabelView's Print Manager
works in the background, sending your print jobs to the printer while you
continue working.
Because we take advantage of the WINDOWS 3.1 Print Manager and WINDOWS
95's print spool you can send your print jobs to any printer you have setup,
picking your printer at print time.
Print
Bar Codes
Bar codes for virtually any industry are supported. Symbologies include:
UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code-93, EAN-8, EAN-13, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of
5, UPC Shipping, Code 128 (A,B,C,), Plessey, and more. Bar Codes can be
in any size and rotated in four directions. We will also be supporting
PDF 417 in our next release due in October '95.
Generate
Serial Numbers
Serial Numbers can be incremented or decremented by any amount and
may appear as either bar codes or text. LabelView can also remember the
last number used and continue where it left off.
Control
Your Label Inventory
LabelView keeps track of the available quantities of different label
stock. Quantities are automatically adjusted when labels are printed. You
will be notified when stock gets below the re-order point that you define.
Use
Passwords
Password security can be used to restrict access to certain functions.
Users may be restricted from printing, modifying, or erasing labels.
