DU05 Keyboard Wedge Decoder The DU05 is an keyboard wedge decoder of the ACSE srl that can handle bar codes and magnetic badge readers, allowing the connection to all the most common Personal Computers and terminals in keyboard emulation available on the market today, without any hardware or software modification. The DU05 can be easily connected to the terminal or PC, using the right coded cable and choosing, via bar code menu, the Terminal or PC to be connected.

Data collected by readers ( such as optic pens, CCD readers, laser beam scanners, optic and magnetic badge readers ) are transmitted to the terminal or PC in the same way as if entered through the keyboard. DU05 can be connected to two readers simultaneously. A serial auxiliary interface enables the DU05 to be connected to external devices ( portable data collection systems, keyboards, scales, scanners, etc. )
DU05 is compatible with more than 500 types of terminals and personal computers and new interfaces are continuosly being developed.
