DU520 Programmable Data Terminal    The DU520 can be programmed in "C" or Basic programming language to accommodate various application requirements. The software is downloaded into resident falsh memory, which can be readly updated as required. The DU520 provides RS232, RS485, Ethernet and RF network capability; the unit has three serial ports on is fixed for host communication, with the remaining two optioned to suite the customer being ( RS232, RS485, Stamode ).    The DU 520 supports up to 8 digital I/O ports which can be selected by combinations of either input or output to match the customer needs. This flexibility allows for the control of alarm, door lucks, photocells and switches.

   The DU520 uses the same batteries as industry standard mobile phones with provision for two packs. In addition, this NiMh battery type is fast and easily charged while still being environmentally friendly. The data terminal supports twoo TTL readers for data input and one other port for either slot reader or magnetic stripe reader, there are two types of back lit STN grapfhic display available, either 128 x 64 or 240 x 64, the keypad is fully programmable and can be made optional according to customers' requirements.
